Social Life at the Greens

Our Social Committee has adopted the motto “A Residential Community of Wonderful Neighbors” for the Greens. This motto certainly rings true when you observe the successful outcomes of their efforts to foster deeper connections between neighbors and create lasting friendships.

More information about the Social Events, Social Groups, and Community Engagement Opportunities offered at the Greens is included below and regular updates and announcements are included in our bimonthly newsletters.

Social Events

Our Rodeo Breakfast and Taco Fiesta held earlier this year were fantastic events. We look forward to announcing a summer event in the coming months!

We are always seeking residents who are interested in giving a talk about their careers, hobbies, accomplishments, travel adventures, etc. Please contact the HOA Management Team if you would like to host a Talk at the Greens!

Social Groups

  • Dominoes Group – Join the group on Tuesdays at 1 pm for their year-round, weekly gatherings at the Greens HOA Clubhouse. New members are welcome to join for friendly competition, snacks, and socializing!

The following groups are on hiatus until the fall/winter season:

  • Euchre Group
  • Mahjong Group

  • Pickleball Connections
  • Spanish Group
  • Women’s Group

Please visit the calendar page of the website to find out more information about upcoming group gatherings.

Community Engagement Projects

Owners and Social Committee members Darlene Saler and Nancy Bellew oversee Community Engagement projects at the Greens, and we are so grateful for their coordination and creativity! Under the direction of Darlene and Nancy, our membership enjoys serving the local community in various ways, including volunteering at the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona and collecting donations for local organizations, like the Gospel Rescue Mission. Along with reaching out to others, Nancy and Darlene are also passionate about bringing new opportunities and experiences to owners at the Greens. Earlier this year, they coordinated an Ikebana Workshop at the Greens that was a huge success!
